Circuit bench proceedings for the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal were held in Chennai.

CHENNAI:There is no need to travel to Delhi in order to obtain justice for residents of Tamil Nadu or Chennai who have concerns with airport tariffs, telecom and television businesses, cyber complaints, or Aadhaar-related issues.Chennai now has a circuit bench of the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (TDSAT).The circuit bench was held in the city for the first time in more than 20 years since the TDSAT was founded in 2000.

However, given that the tribunal’s inaugural session was held in a hotel on Anna Salai, Leading attorneys have emphasised the need for a separate courtroom for the tribunal.
