The appointment of Adv. Venkatachari Lakshminarayanan as an additional judge on the Madras High Court is announced by the Center.
Advocate Venkatachari Lakshminarayanan has been appointed by the Central Government as an Additional judge of the Madras High Court.
The Supreme Court collegium recommended Lakshminarayan’s name at its meeting on January 17, 2023, along with Justice Victoria Gowri. One of the five advocates who were suggested for promotion was him. He has been appointed to the position of Additional Judge for a term of two years beginning on the day he takes over his new position.
